Salt House Bar & Restaurant offers two distinctly contrasting bars, both of which have unique features.
The Sailing Bar:
As you enter Salt House, our Sailing Bar greets you with luxurious white lounges and our spectacular wall of lanterns, lit every night to add a glow to the atmosphere. The lounge area offers the perfect place to catch up with friends, whilst at the bar you can sample our extensive range of local and international beers and wines, including 8 different draught beers and an array of wines by the glass. Catch some of the best local and visiting musicians in Cairns 5 nights a week on our Sailing Bar Stage from 8pm.
The Deck Bar:
Nestled amongst Balinese stone ponds, fire features and two large Poinciana trees, the Deck Bar is an oasis of style, glamour & comfort. Sink back into the day bed or perch on one of our tabourets beneath the tree canopies and indulge in the most picturesque and sophisticated drinking experience in Cairns. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will happily guide you through our impressive array of exotic cocktails. While exploring the extensive Cocktail list, enjoy some of the city’s finest DJ’s spinning everything from soulful vibes to funk fusion, world grooves to retro jazz.
From 12noon until 10pm daily, enjoy our selection of tapas-style plates available on our Bar Menu in both the Sailing Bar and Deck Bar.
Please note that the bar will be closed on Christmas Day and reopening again on Monday 26th December at 12pm.
